Boston's Dynamic Duo Powers Victory
Tatum and Brown Combine for 61 Points
The Boston Celtics have taken a commanding 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals after a hard-fought 106-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 on Wednesday night in Dallas. The Celtics' dynamic duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led the way, combining for a staggering 61 points.
Tatum finished with a game-high 29 points, while Brown added 22. The Celtics also received solid contributions from Robert Williams III (10 points, 10 rebounds) and Al Horford (11 points, 8 rebounds).
The Mavericks, who were led by Luka Doncic's 26 points, struggled to keep pace with the Celtics' high-powered offense. Dallas shot just 40.8% from the field, compared to Boston's 47.7%. The Celtics also dominated the boards, outrebounding the Mavericks 47-41.
With the win, the Celtics are now just two wins away from their 18th NBA championship. Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Friday night in Dallas.
