Alex Caruso's Injury Jeopardizes Bulls' Play-in Status
Chicago Star Suffers Left Ankle Injury
Suspect Status for Friday's Play-in Game in Miami
Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso's status for Friday's play-in tournament game against the Miami Heat is in jeopardy after he sustained a left ankle injury during a recent practice.
Caruso, a key member of the Bulls' rotation, is said to be questionable for the game after undergoing an MRI, which revealed a mild ankle sprain.
The Bulls, who finished the regular season with a 46-36 record, will need Caruso's defensive presence and playmaking abilities if they hope to advance in the playoffs. Caruso is averaging 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game this season.
If Caruso is unable to play, the Bulls could turn to Ayo Dosunmu or Coby White to fill his role in the starting lineup.
The Bulls will face the Heat at FTX Arena in Miami on Friday at 7:30 p.m. EST.
