Chelsea and Manchester City played out an epic eight-goal thriller in the FA Cup semi-final, with Erling Haaland scoring twice for City and Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Hakim Ziyech, and Mateo Kovacic also getting on the scoresheet.
Haaland opened the scoring for City in the 23rd minute, but Chelsea hit back through Ziyech just five minutes later. Mahrez restored City's lead before half-time, but Chelsea again drew level through Alvarez in the 53rd minute.
Akanji put City ahead for the third time in the 64th minute, but Kovacic equalised for Chelsea just three minutes later. Haaland then scored his second of the game in the 77th minute, but Chelsea refused to give up and Rodri scored an own goal in the 89th minute to level the scores once more.
The match went to extra-time, but neither team could find a winning goal. Chelsea will now face Liverpool in the FA Cup final on May 6.
